Companies that use project and portfolio management (PPM) solutions reduce redundant projects by an average of 78 percent, finds IDC. They also shorten project duration by 35 percent, and lower average project costs by 37 percent. Once deployed, the average PPM solutions pays for itself in less than eight months, IDC adds.
